Biserche valshebno Children’s Choice Award
Aiming to give children the opportunity to express their opinion for the best children’s books published in Bulgarian in the previous year, we organize annually “Biserche Valshebno” (“The Magic Pearl”) – the only Children’s Choice Book Award in Bulgaria.
We are empowering children and young people from 3 to 16 years to choose, read and vote for newly published books, which turn them into READERS for life. Through the Award children develop their abilities to read, evaluate books, and make decisions.
We have established close connections with more than 3000 libraries, kindergartens, and schools throughout the country so that children can read the nominated books and vote for their favourites. Since 2013, we have promoted nearly 1500 contemporary books for children published in the Bulgarian language.
