Let’s Make Our Way to the Villages campaign

One of the main activities of Kitabistan is to contribute to redressing the imbalance in terms of access to books between cities and remote rural areas. To achieve this, we have launched the “Let’s make our way to the villages” campaign which involves visiting remote regions, encouraging the youth to read, donating books to libraries and schools, and supporting the creation of new libraries in those regions.

To facilitate this campaign, “Otokoch Azerbaijan” LLC has generously donated a car to Kitabistan.

The works we carry out within the framework of visits to the regions:

• Kitabistan organizes book discussions among teenagers and young people
• In addition to donating our own publications, we make book donations from our readers to remote village and school libraries.
• We donate school supplies to children from poor families.
