Literacy Rescuers

Literacy Rescuers is a community of educators-leaders who work together, supporting each other, to popularize reading among children.

Our vision is for students and teachers to develop comprehensively, take care of each other, take care of the surrounding world. We also want them to be able to talk openly, with mutual understanding and respect. Reading books builds such communities.

In our Literacy Rescuers campaign we create an expert environment where we support each other in leadership, exchange experience and knowledge, help in the implementation of the core curriculum, and increase children’s chances of success.

We invite teachers, librarians, parents and children to participate in free trainings that indicate effective methods and tools for popularizing reading.

Our other goal is to provide them with educational materials and aids that can be used when organizing activities in various areas – schools, libraries, homes, reading festivals and other events.

We recommend books worth reading not only for the young students but to each other.

Our projects and initiatives are based on various research focused on reading, which we happily share with our community, while recommending the most effective methods of promoting the book culture among children.
