The Aqra Miegħi / Read with Me early literacy programme is intended for children from 0 to 3 years and their parents/caregivers. Each session features the sharing of storybooks, the singing of nursery rhymes and other fun activities for this age group. The main objectives of the programme are to promote a love of books, and develop the child’s imagination through fun and stimulating activities. These free one hour sessions are being held across Malta and Gozo. This programme is partially funded by Bank of Valletta.
