Stora bokvalet / The Great Bookjury

In the Great Bookjury (Swedish: Stora bokvalet), we encourage children and young people to vote for their favorite book.

The Great Bookjury aims to promote reading among children and young people and let the voices of children and young people be heard. In April, three winning authors will be chosen, one in each age group 6-9 years, 9-12 years, 12-16 years, and the prize is Sweden’s finest bookprize because it is children and young people who choose their favorite books!

The Great Bookjury is an initiative of Bonniers Familjestiftelse together with the publishing companies Bonnier Carlsen and Rabén & Sjögren. All of last year’s children’s and young people’s books published in Sweden are included in the selection of books that children and young people can vote for.
