The LESE Foundation is a non-profit organisation that creates reading enjoyment and builds reading culture through inclusion, engagement and curiosity. LESE runs reading promotion initiatives for all ages, literary prizes, and offers support for the development of universally designed literature and literature for those who face barriers to reading. Each year, its initiatives reach over half a million children and young people through the school system.
The LESE Foundation was established in 2025 by Foreningen !les and Leser søker bok. The two organisations merged, bringing together a combined 50 years of experience in reading promotion and accessible literature.
