A powerful European network for reading and literacy

EURead brings together organisations from across Europe that are dedicated to promoting reading and literacy in all areas of society.

Through collaboration, shared knowledge and joint initiatives, our members work to ensure that reading remains accessible, relevant and impactful for everyone.

A diverse network with a shared mission

EURead currently brings together 39 organisations from 28 European countries, all working in the field of literacy and reading promotion.

Our members represent a wide range of perspectives and expertise, engaging with:

  • educators and schools
  • policy-makers and institutions
  • cultural and community organisations
  • families and early childhood programmes
  • businesses and public figures

Despite their diversity, all members share a common goal: to make reading a meaningful and accessible part of everyday life.
