BookStadium – the new project that brings together books and football

BookStadium is a new project from the Polish Book Institute, which was piloted in 2024. The aim of the project is to promote reading among children aged 9-11 – primarily among boys who don’t read – by combining literature and football.

“Let’s Read Family Stories” – a programme for primary schools

The Book Institute, as part of the bookstart project “Small Book – Great Person”, organised for the first time a three-month programme aimed at first-grade pupils in primary schools, as well as their teachers and school librarians.

Training for midwives

The Book Institute, in collaboration with the Universal Reading Foundation, has launched an online course for midwives and medical staff caring for pregnant women, called “The Power of Reading Aloud: The Impact of Early Reading Intervention on Children’s Health and Development”.
